Manali : A Great Holiday Destination




A hill station that truly makes you feel heaven on earth is Manali. It is known for its exotic beauty.  This destination is one of the favorite place that is been visited by the tourist every year.  Manali is place where you can visit all the seasons or it can be said you can enjoy all seasons out here.

Manali is at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh. It is elevated at the height of 2050 m (6398 feet) above the sea level. The hill station is situated on Beas River. It has got rich vegetation and flora and fauna.

The travelers can witness beautiful high mountains covered by snow, wild flowers, fruit orchards and much more. From sight-seeing to adventure treks tourist have got lot of activities to do. Manali has got some amazing adventurous trekking place that attracts the trekkers. Each temple has its historical myth. One who visits these temples will surely experience divine peace and calmness. The other major attraction to visit are Vashist hot water springs, Klath hot water springs, Jogini falls, Old Manali, Monasteries, Rohtang Pass and much more.

Rohtang Pass is at an altitude of 13,050 feet above the sea level. It is also one major tourist attraction site. Since it is on the highest point of Manali-Keylong road one can enjoy the breath-taking view of mountains that are rising far above the clouds. The trekkers and adventure lovers have got lot activities. Best time to visit this place is summer as in winter the roads are closed.

For shopping lovers they can visit the Manali market where they buy woolen stuffs like sweaters, shawls, pull over etc. if you looking some funky stuff like Hippie clothes or jewelry then you can visit old Manali. If you wish to carry mementos then you purchase key chains and name plates. Other stuff that you can buy is honey, fruit products, apricot oil at Himcoop juice bar manali. These are locally produced in the valley. This is one of the famous Tourist Places in Himachal that attracts travellers from around the world.

Manali is well connected by road with Chandigarh, Dehradun, Shimla, Delhi, Ambla, and Dalhousie. There are regular bus services from these places. If you travelling by train then nearest station is Chandigarh and Pathankot.  The nearest airport is at Bhuntar i.e. 50 km from Manali.
