Trekking in Shrikhand Mahadev

The trek of Shrikhand Mahadev is a wonderful pilgrim trail which leads to Shrikhand Mahadev peak which is located at a height of 5227 meters/17150 ft and named after the Lord of universe, Shiva. The main attraction of this trek is the exclusive view of the Himalayan ranges right from the valley of Parvati in Kullu, Hansbeshan, Jorkandan and Rangrik ranges. The trek can be completed starting either from Arsu side or even from the Nirmand side.

The popular route for this trek starts from Nirmand location in Jaon village side. In order to reach the base camp you need to take drive down from Shimla to Rampur and then by crossing the Sutlej River for entering Niramand region in Kullu district and then another drive up to Jaon Village.
